Payments & Fees
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This page explains how money works on Kaynchi. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
- Kaynchi does not charge Customers a booking fee.
- You pay the Artist or Studio directly in cash after your Service.
- Your bill is made up of:
- the Service price set by the Professional,
- minus any discount (promo code, deal or invite discount),
- plus the Travel Fee for at-home bookings,
- plus Sindh Sales Tax (SST).
- All of these are shown in the app before you confirm and on your booking receipt.
- Kaynchi does not take payment from you, hold your money or process refunds. If you have a problem with a payment, report it in the app or email support@kaynchi.org and we will help resolve it with the Professional.
2. For Artists and Studios
2.1 What you collect
Customers pay you directly in cash for the Service, the Travel Fee and the SST shown on the receipt, less any discount.
2.2 Kaynchi's commission
Right now Kaynchi does not collect any commission. While payments on Kaynchi are cash only, your payout summary shows what the commission would be, for your information only. You do not need to pay it. Commission will only start being collected when Kaynchi introduces online payments, and we will give you at least 14 days' notice in the app or by email before that happens.
Once commission is active, for each completed booking Kaynchi will charge a commission (shown as "Service Fee" on your payout summary) on your Service price. The Travel Fee is not included.
| Item | Current rate |
|---|
| Kaynchi commission (Service Fee) | 20% of the Service price |
| Sindh Sales Tax (SST) | 13%, shown on your payout summary |
2.3 Payout summary
You can download a payout summary (sales tax invoice) for any period in the Kaynchi Pro app. It shows:
- the number of completed bookings and the total Service Fee (commission),
- minus any discounts funded by Kaynchi (see Section 3),
- plus SST,
- and the resulting balance:
- if it is a debit, that is the amount you would owe Kaynchi;
- if it is a credit (because Kaynchi-funded discounts were larger than the commission), that is the amount Kaynchi would owe you.
While commission is not being collected, these balances are for information only and nothing is payable either way.
Once commission is active, any debit balance must be paid using the method and within the time Kaynchi tells you, and Kaynchi may restrict or suspend accounts with unpaid balances.
2.4 Introductory period
Until online payments are introduced, Kaynchi is in an introductory period: no commission is collected and Kaynchi does not reimburse discounts (see Section 3). We will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before the introductory period ends.
2.5 Changes to rates
We may change the commission rate or how it is calculated by giving at least 14 days' notice. Changes do not apply to bookings already completed.
- Customers may receive discounts through promo codes, deals or invite (referral) bonuses. The conditions of each offer are shown in the app.
- During the introductory period (now), Kaynchi does not collect commission, and discounts are not reimbursed by Kaynchi; they are borne by the Artist or Studio.
- Once commission is active, discounts from Kaynchi promo codes and invite bonuses will be funded by Kaynchi: they will be deducted from the commission on your payout summary, so you are not out of pocket.
- Deals that you create yourself are always funded by you.
4. Online payments and wallet
Kaynchi does not currently offer an in-app wallet, card payments, JazzCash, Easypaisa or any other online payment method. If we introduce online payments in future, we will publish separate terms before they apply.
